Moustache reinvents its Dimanche frame for road and gravel

Moustache has completely reinvented its Dimanche frame with the arrival of new Dimanche 28 Road and Dimanche 29 Gravel models.

The all-news Dimanche features a fully redesigned aluminium frame offering comfort engineered in via compliance in the seat stays, carbon forks, a range of wheel options, hydraulic brakes and an efficient, precise transmission.

Both bikes are available in Standard or Open (low-step) versions, making the Dimanche 28 Road and Dimanche 29 Gravel an appealing option for a wider audience. The Bosch Performance Line SX motor and integrated 400Wh battery are standard across both bikes, giving an estimated 90Km range.

The new Bosch SX motor – a light, smooth and quiet power unit – provides 55Nm of torque, delivering 3.4 times the rider’s power, up to 600W, all with the typical Bosch smoothness and control. This makes the SX motor ideal for the most technical and steep gravel trails.

Critically, on the road, at speeds above 15.5mph / 25kmh, the SX motor is also quiet and smooth, making it ideal for both Dimanche 28 Road and Dimanche 29 Gravel models.

What sets the bikes apart?

Dimanche 29 is fully gravel optimised. This sees the redesigned aluminium frame fitted with a combination of “carbon fork + suspended stem + dropper/suspended seat post + high-volume tyres” all with a focus on providing comfort and performance.

Tyre choice alone would make or break many bikes designed for both road and gravel. Here the Dimanche 29 comes equipped with 700×50 Maxxis Rambler tyres, ensuring grip, comfort, and rim protection when heading further off road.

Add to this a Bosch 1X drivetrain, coupled to a very wide range cassette (11-48 for Shimano Cues 10-spd, or 11-50 for SRAM 12-spd) and Moustache have focused on making things easy and smooth on all terrain.

Highlights

  • Full integration of motor and battery, giving a clean aesthetic.
  • Standard or Open (low step) versions, geometry that’s easy to get on and off while still offering performance and comfort.
  • Design focus aimed at a wide range of riders, from beginners to experts.
  • An ‘encouraging exploration’ battery range, with a compact 400Wh integrated battery, and 250Wh PowerMore range extender, giving riders up to 650Wh.
  • Smart System connectivity with route management and navigation on certain versions of the bikes.
