Fox unveils flagship Transfer Neo wireless dropper post

Fox Factory has unveiled the Transfer Neo, marketed as the brand’s new flagship dropper post.

Neo opened the door to Fox creating one of best wireless dropper posts in the industry, but the brand and its riders needed it to do more: a cleaner cockpit, easy installation, and a short lever throw.

Every element of Transfer Neo has been critically designed, tested and improved through Fox’s Racing Applications and Development (RAD) programme.

External design reduces stack height, battery placement for increased tyre clearance, and a lever design for ergonomic and natural feel.

Additional improvements have been made for more robust internal sealing and durability.

According to Fox, the Transfer Neo goes from level press to post movement in an impressive 26.216 milliseconds and there is a 30 to 40 hour main battery life, depending on frequency of use.

Available in 125mm, 150mm, 175mm and 200mm drop options in all diameters – 30.9mm, 31.6mm and 34.9mm. 100mm drop available in 30.9mm and 31.6mm only.

The product is also fully supported by the Ride Fox Bike app.

Riders can access an overview of Transfer Neo components, download firmware updates and activate useful features like Bike Park Mode, Transport Mode, and monitor service interval tracking.

Bike Park Mode temporarily disables the dropper lever, preventing accidental seat post extension when riding primarily downhill trails.

Bike park riders no longer need to flip their wireless dropper lever to the bar’s topside to avoid accidental actuation.

This mode can be deactivated by rapidly pressing the lever four times, or via the app.

Transport Mode is designed to conserve battery power in Transfer Neo while the bike is in transit (e.g. long car rides).

When this mode is active, Transfer Neo will power off automatically with its “Shake to Wake” functionality disabled.

To deactivate Transport mode, drop the rear of the bike from a few feet off the ground (allow it to bounce), or simply remove and reinsert the battery.

The new Transfer Neo has an MSRP of £1,129 and includes the post, lever, battery, charger and cable, 22.2mm, MatchMaker and I-Spec EV clamping options.

Neo batteries are available for £99.95, with a spare charger and cable retailing at £62.95

Transfer Neo is distributed exclusively in the UK and Ireland by Silverfish UK and is available to order now from www.silverfish-uk.com.
